Celestina Cheering Cups
If these cups have a theme song, *this* is it.
These one-of-a-kind, small porcelain “cheering” cups are the perfect size for toasting friends with your favorite amaro or saki, or for enjoying your morning espresso. We think they’re even lovely as juice cups. Each of these sweet little vessels is slightly different, thrown on the wheel by Nick Troisi and hand painted by George Ferrandi using an inlaid underglaze technique called Mishima. The imagery is celestial, with planetary faces floating around on the outside and a hint of clouds passing against a sky blue interior. Signed with “Santito” on the bottom. No two are alike and we’ll be sure to pick out a good one (or several) for you!
Deets:
2.5-3 inches tall and 2.5-3 inches in diameter. Holds about 4 ounces.
Dishwasher safe, but to ensure the longevity of your piece, we recommend hand washing.
